Located just 45 minutes east of the capital of Mississippi one of the most well known Arabian Horse farms found in the United States . . . Hidden Springs Arabians, owned by Betty Gail Skinner & Tricia McGehee.
It was in 1988 when Betty Gail & Tricia bought their first Arabian Horse as a business investment . . this was the beginning of a breeding program that Hidden Springs is known for. Hidden Springs encompasses over 100 pastoral acres populated with rare Egyptian and Egyptian-bred Arabian horses. In addition to the stables you will find other horse accommodations, there is a large covered show area where horses are trained.
Although the farm is strongly associated with Egyptian breeding in the minds of many, Hidden Springs is an Arabian breeding farm. As a breeding facility, Hidden Springs employs a trainer, as well as many others who are either exercising, feeding, washing or grooming their charges.
The first lesson taught by Hidden Springs Arabians is: always begin a breeding program with great mares and the second is success is a pattern, not a happenstance. The list of wins at Hidden Springs includes wins at everything from the country’s most prestigious Class A Shows to the Regionals, U.S. & Canadian Nationals.
